Yeins Gomez Sousa is a Cuban-born visual artist renowned for his mastery in both tattooing and sculpture.

Born in 1987 in Cárdenas, Matanzas, Cuba, Yeins cultivated his artistic foundation through rigorous academic training, studying sculpture at the Professional Art School in Matanzas and later specializing in Restoration and Conservation at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana.

Yeins's journey into tattooing was ignited by a personal experience at 15 and later inspired by close friends and fellow artists Ernesto Garcia and Dariel Negrin.

After relocating to the United States in 2015 due to political circumstances, he initially worked in construction while nurturing his passion for art.

His perseverance paid off when he began tattooing professionally at Inkollector Tattoo Studio in Miami.

Now based in Greenville, South Carolina, Yeins operates out of The Gallery Tattoo, where he specializes in hyper-realistic black and gray tattoos that often encapsulate personal narratives and memorials.

His work is characterized by meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of anatomy, and a commitment to translating clients' stories into lasting art.
